We are excited to announce our newest endeavor, For Love and Craft. For Love and Craft is a fundraising effort to give our photography a greater purpose. In a year when the world seems to have been turned upside down and inside out we were left with plenty of time to reflect. While we have had our fair share of challenges in this crazy thing called life, it has always been the support and generosity of family and friends that have helped us move forward. There have been so many stories that have come out in 2020 that made us realize that there is still so much to be grateful for in life and so much more love to be given.
One of these stories is of a beautiful, kind, loving, funny, young 13 yr old girl named Kendall. Shortly after the quarantine began Kendall started experiencing strong back pain and tingling in her legs that resulted in a trip to the ER. She had suffered a very rare spinal stroke that has since left her paralyzed from the waist down. Her family has since relocated from IL to FL to receive the treatment and therapy that she needs (that is not covered in full by insurance). In addition to therapy fees, there was the need to secure accessible housing, and expensive equipment such as a Functional Electronic Simulation bike (over $30,000). With all of this on top of a pandemic, Kendall remains very strong in faith, continues to have a positive outlook, intensely determined.
She inspired us to move forward with this idea that we've been throwing around for awhile. In honor of Kendall, we chose our first print to sell with 100% of proceeds being donated to her family to use as they need during this time. In addition to the print, which can be purchased here, we also are developing our For Love and Craft merchandise shop where 100% of any proceeds purchased will also go to our chosen recipient at the time. The print below is what we have dedicated to Kendall as it represents strength and hope.

Our hope is every few months to identify a new recipient of the funds we raise. Each recipient will have a print dedicated to them and all proceeds from that print will continue to go to them/their family, while proceeds from the merchandise shop will rotate amongst identified recipients.
